Once I download a podcasting application, how do I subscribe to a podcast?
To subscribe to The Buzz podcasts in iTunes simply...
Open iTunes.
Click on Advanced, and select "Subscribe to Podcast."
Copy and paste the URL of the podcast you wish to subscribe to...

Then, click OK
Now, every time you open iTunes, it will automatically fetch any podcasts that have been added to that feed, and every time you sync your device the clips download into your player.
